      <title>LWJGL 1.0 released</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;After several years of development, finally the first stable release of the  Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL) arrived.&lt;/p&gt;

		&lt;p class="pullquote"&gt;The Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL) is a solution aimed directly at professional and amateur Java programmers alike to enable commercial quality games to be written in Java. &lt;span class="caps"&gt;LWJGL&lt;/span&gt; provides developers access to high performance crossplatform libraries such as OpenGL (Open Graphics Library) and OpenAL (Open Audio Library) allowing for state of the art 3D games and 3D sound. L&amp;#8217;API di Java 3D permette di aggiungre dei blocchi di codice eseguibili autonomamente all&amp;#8217;interno dello scenegraph attraverso una classe derivata da Behavior (javax.media.j3d.Behavior). Dopo una breve panoramica sulle &amp;#8220;built-in behavior&amp;#8221; e sui &amp;#8220;wakeup criteria&amp;#8221;, andremo ad introdurre il modo per realizzare delle custom behavior per poi fare alcune considerazioni sui vantaggi e svantaggi nel loro utilizzo.&lt;/td&gt;

      <title>Java 3D API 1.4 Released</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;In these days, the version 1.4 of the [Java 3D &lt;span class="caps"&gt;API&lt;/span&gt;](https://java3d.dev.java.net/) has been released.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;The Maintenance Release under the Java Community Process (JCP) is defined by [JSR-926](http://jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=926) and
includes the following new features:&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;- Programmable shader support&lt;br/&gt;
- Default values for read capability bits&lt;br/&gt;
- Additional core picking methods&lt;br/&gt;
- Stencil buffer&lt;br/&gt;
- Rendering attributes/modes for depth test function&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;Other minor features have been added and others have been deprecated in the Java 3D &lt;span class="caps"&gt;API&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;You can find all new and deprecated features in the [Java 3D &lt;span class="caps"&gt;API&lt;/span&gt; version 1.4 Change Log](http://jcp.org/aboutJava/communityprocess/maintenance/jsr926/926ChangeLog.html).&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;One of the most interesting features available with the next release of the Java 3D &lt;span class="caps"&gt;API&lt;/span&gt; is the
&lt;span class="caps"&gt;JOGL&lt;/span&gt; integration (Java Bindings for OpenGL, [JSR-231](http://www.jcp.org/en/jsr/detail?id=231)) for the access to native context.&lt;/p&gt;
